Write for Q&A
This page will tell you:
- what kind of writers we're looking for
- what remuneration we offer
- what writing for us involves.
What we're looking for
We are always keen to hear from potential authors who are experienced teachers, especially if they also have experience of examining or moderating. Perhaps you're teaching a course or text that we don't yet cover and would like to write a resource for it, or perhaps you're open to suggestions. Either way, write, email us or phone for a chat. (See Contact page.)
Remuneration
We offer an attractive royalty of 20%, rising to 25% on high-volume sales. You will also have the reassurance of knowing that your work will never go out of print.
What it involves
Our resources are typically around 20-25,000 words long (about 40 printed A4 pages). Writing one need not be a daunting task. If you've been teaching for years, you probably have plenty of lesson ideas and a good grasp of your subject already.
You will have to be prepared to write with a particular awarding body's requirements in mind. We will give you a detailed brief and ongoing support. Co-authoring is an option. |
